Sprayable or injectable thermo-sensitive hydrogels
In this project, we develop and apply thermo-sensitive hydrogels for biomedical use. By adjusting temperature changes, these hydrogels alter their physical state, enabling diverse clinical applications. Key applications include injectable drug delivery systems, wound-healing dressings, anti-adhesion barriers, and minimally invasive surgeries. Additionally, these hydrogels help replicate tissue micro-environments, supporting 3D cell culture models and advancing drug testing and regenerative medicine.

Innovative Small-Molecule Therapies for Neurodegenerative Diseases
Neurodegenerative diseases pose significant challenges due to the lack of effective treatments. This project focuses on developing novel small-molecule compounds as potential drug candidates to slow or prevent neurodegeneration. By investigating their mechanisms of action, we aim to advance treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and spinocerebellar ataxia, addressing critical gaps in current therapeutic options.
