Prof. I-Cheng Chen, Ph.D.

Prof. I-Cheng Chen specializes in biomaterials and neurodegenerative disease research, focusing on bone grafts, hydrogels, and dental materials. With a background in stem cell and molecular biology, she explores small-molecule therapies for Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and spinocerebellar ataxias.

She actively collaborates with both academia and industry, bridging research and commercialization to accelerate medical device development and clinical applications. Her experience includes contributing to a cell therapy startup, establishing a GTP laboratory, and fostering interdisciplinary innovation through strategic partnerships.
